It appears as though the board will be breaking with their published meeting schedule to hold a meeting on Tuesday, June 8th. Nothing official has been published yet. The primary purpose of the meeting will be to break into executive session and renew the president’s contract. Open meetings law requires that normal meeting notices be posted 48 hours in advance of the meeting. There is, however a provision which would allow the council to convene an emergency meeting without such notice and only under specific circumstances.
